The management structure of Scott Wilson Europe Region is based on the five market sectors recognised throughout the company: strategic consultancy, railways, buildings and infrastructure, environment and natural resources and roads.

SIMON HINDSHAW, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Following early experience of on a variety of UK road projects Simon joined the Glasgow office of Scott Wilson in 1986. He became a Director in 1997 before moving six years later to Warsaw to lead the development of the company’s operations in Central and Eastern Europe into one of its key international regional businesses. Simon has extensive experience in the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects primarily in the road, rail and urban transport sectors for both public and private sectors. He continues to provide advice to government clients on the structuring of public private partnerships. In 2009 his role was expanded to cover responsibility for all the company’s operations in mainland Europe together with a number of operations in Africa.

MARTIN EDGE, DIRECTOR | EUROPE REGION

Martin's early career was in the Maritime sector.  He worked on ports projects in UK, East Africa, South America and Russia.  In 2000, Martin joined the Scott Wilson Basingstoke office and since then has been responsible for business development and project delivery in the Transport sector in the regions of Europe, CIS and East Africa. His experience in managing transport-related infrastructure projects includes strategic transport studies, feasibility studies, technical assistance and site supervision assignments.  He is currently responsible for Scott Wilson regional business in the Roads sector in the CIS,  Eastern and Southern Europe and a number of operations in Africa.

GRZEGORZ RATAJCZAK, DIRECTOR | EUROPE REGION

Grzegorz joined Scott Wilson in 2006. Prior to that, Grzegorz was a Managing Director of a leading Polish road and bridge design company Transprojekt Poznań  acquired by Scott Wilson. Grzegorz has unrivalled experience of managing road and bridge design projects being a main designer of over 100 bridge structures and coordinator of numerous motorway and expressway projects in Poland. He is a pedagogue at the Poznan Technical University and took part in various conferences presenting road projects’ issues in the environment protection context. He is responsible for the regional operations in the Roads sector in the Northern and Western Europe.

TOMASZ KRAWCZYK, DIRECTOR | EUROPE REGION

Tom has joined Scott Wilson after 16 years of progressive professional experience from New Zealand local government and international development aid institutions in the field of water and sanitation and later road engineering. When he arrived in his native Poland in 1996 he acted as a Team Leader on a number of pre-accession  projects awarded to Scott Wilson. In the result he became a key player in the establishment of company’s operation in Poland. He is currently responsible for Scott Wilson regional business in Environment and Natural Resources, Rail and Building and Infrastructure sectors.
