SIMON DAVIES, Chairman
Simon joined Scott Wilson in 1978. He has been
based in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. He formed a
key international centre in Hong Kong on his return in 2001 and he
directs the Group's business development and project activities in
Greater China. Simon has unrivalled experience of directing and
implementing privatised waste management projects and managing
transport-related infrastructure projects, especially
design-build-operate schemes.
PETER CHAN, Chief Executive
Peter Chan joined Scott Wilson in 1993 following years
specialising in geotechnics and environmental remediation in Canada
and Hong Kong. He was Director responsible for the division's
environmental and waste business between 1996 and 2000. He has been
Director responsible for Scott Wilson's operations in China since
2000, and in 2006 became Chief Executive. Peter has managed the
ongoing diversification of Scott Wilson's client base and service
offering in Mainland China.
MIKE CHALMERS, Director - Maritime
Michael Chalmers joined Scott Wilson in the UK in 1973 and
moved to Hong Kong in 1975. He has over 35 years extensive
experience on major feasibility and planning studies for port
developments, tourism and leisure projects, marine studies and
investigations, industrial and urban developments, and the design,
tendering and construction of a wide range of projects involving
dredging, reclamation, seawalls and other maritime structures. Mike
has particularly strong experience on container and oil terminals,
and large-scale reclamations.
TONG WAI-LOK, Director - Building Structures
Tong Wai-lok joined Scott Wilson in 1997. He has over 25
years experience in structural, civil and geotechnical engineering
with expertise in deep basement excavation, geotechnical works,
foundation and high-rise buildings construction. Before joining
Scott Wilson, he ran his own practice and was in charge of more
than 70 projects over this period valued at over HK$ 900
million.
WALTER CHAN, Director - Infrastructure
Walter Chan
rejoined Scott Wilson in 2008 after having gained early experience
with the company in Hong Kong from 1978 to 1984 on bridges, new
towns and industrial projects. Walter has over 30 years of
experience in project management, railway, highway and bridges,
buildings facilities, industrial and maritime structures.
Previously he held senior positions in Hong Kong and Australia with
leading consultants and a railway operator. He is growing the
company’s existing infrastructure business, targeting new
infrastructure and transportation projects in Hong Kong and the
region, particularly with private sector clients.
GEOFFREY PHILLIPS, Technical Director - Infrastructure
Geoff Phillips joined
Scott Wilson in 1986 following a number of years with the Mass
Transit Railway Corporation in Hong Kong and with a major
construction contractor in UK. Geoff has wide-ranging experience in
designing and managing large-scale transport infrastructure
including expressways, tunnels and railways; urban infrastructure
including site works for property developers; waste management
facilities; and water, wastewater and drainage facilities. Geoff
was promoted to Principal Engineer in 1991, Associate in 1993 and
became Technical Director in 2001. He has a comprehensive
knowledge and experience of standard, turnkey, design-build and
build-operate-transfer construction contracts, including due
diligence independent checking.
PAUL CHU, Technical Director - Transportation
Paul Chu joined Scott Wilson in 1980 and has developed a
career focused on studies, design and supervision of major highway
and railway bridges, as well as managing planning and landscape
studies and design for major transport infrastructure. He is
currently an Associate in the Highways and Bridges Section. He has
more than 28 years experience in the project management, design and
contract administration of bridges and infrastructure development
in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Canada. Paul has also managed
Scott Wilson joint-venture operations in China.
BRUCE WONG, Technical Director - Mechanical &
Electrical

Bruce Wong is an electrical engineer with 20 years of experience
in commercial, hotel and leisure, residential and industrial
property in Hong Kong and mainland China. Based in Beijing, Bruce
heads up Scott Wilson's Mechanical & Electrical engineering and
building services practice in the division, including green
building design for property developers and owners. He specialises
in niche building services consultancy for five-star hotels,
comprehensive mixed-use developments, and Class A offices.
BENJAMIN SUN, Technical Director - Geotechnical
Dr Benjamin Sun joined Scott Wilson in 1997.
Following his Master's degree and PhD in Geotechnical Engineering,
Ben worked on a wide variety of geotechnical and geoenvironmental
projects in the USA and Canada. After joining Scott Wilson in Hong
Kong, he has managed and directed many publicly funded civil
projects, building development projects, as well as various slope
assessment and maintenance projects. Ben has also evaluated the
stability of and designed large tailings dams and has engineered
various landfill and waste containment facilities.
WONG KOI-HOU, Technical Director - Building Structures

Wong first joined Scott Wilson in 1990 after having worked for
consultant and contractors on a variety of building structures
projects. He was promoted to principal engineer in 2001 and in
January 2008 was appointed Technical Director. He has over 20 years
of experience in the design and construction of structural
engineering projects including high-rise commercial and residential
buildings, hotels, deep basements, industrial, education,
exhibition halls and transport stations and complexes including
numerous projects at Hong Kong International Airport.
SAMUEL WONG, Technical Director -
Transportation
Samuel Wong has 20 years experience in transport planning,
traffic engineering and management throughout Asia and UK. He has
managed and participated in numerous regional transport studies,
and carried out traffic appraisals for property developments and
transport infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and China. Samuel is
an expert at planning and implementing traffic and financial
studies for privatized expressways including more than 100 toll
road projects, primarily in Mainland China, particularly as part of
due diligence for companies’ Initial Public Offerings listings on
Hong Kong and China stock exchanges.
COLLIN CHAN, Technical Director - Land Development
Collin Chan has 20 years' experience in civil engineering
infrastructure and waterworks. He has been involved in a wide range
of projects comprising feasibility studies, preliminary and
detailed design, contract preparation and supervision-in-chief on
roadworks, bridges, cycleways, site formation, reclamation,
drainage, sewerage, water supply and utilities, in both rugged
terrain in the New Territories and in intensively developed urban
areas in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island Central Business
District.
JONATHAN MEIGH, Technical Director - Maritime
Jonathan Meigh has 35 years' experience in the planning,
design and construction of maritime and port development projects.
He has been involved in many projects in Hong Kong, China, Bahrain,
Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India, UK, Gibraltar,
the Caribbean and various countries in Africa. He is the head
of the firm's Coastal Engineering Group within the Maritime
business unit and will be responsible for all Bahrain and United
Arab Emirates' projects.
IAN MUIR, Technical Director - Maritime
Ian Muir has 20
years' experience in civil engineering and ground
investigation with recent heavy emphasis on martitime works. Since
joining Scott Wilson in 1993, he has been engaged in the firm's
Geotechnical Section and has provided geotechnical support to
design teams and resident site staff on a number of flagship site
formation, earthworks, reclamation and associated projects in Hong
Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Bahrain and Qatar.
LAU CHUN-LEUNG, Technical Director - Project Management
Lau Chun-leung joined Scott Wilson in 2004 after
having worked with several major construction companies in the
region and managed the construction of projects in China, Malaysia
and Vietnam. He has extensive experience in working within a
multi-cultural environment. His project experience is wide-ranging,
encompassing the construction of hotels, residential towers,
institutional developments, office and commercial complexes,
industrial facilities and large-scale urban infrastructure. He is
experienced in contractual dispute resolution.
SIMON LAU, Associate Director - Construction Management
Simon
Lau has nearly 30 years of engineering design, construction and
project management on infrastructure, industrial and environmental
projects in China, Hong Kong and Canada. He joined Scott Wilson in
2007 from Zublin Project Management China Ltd where he was Managing
Director of their Guangzhou office. He has excellent knowledge of
implementing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management
and Design-Build projects, particularly in China. Simon holds
advanced degrees in engineering from Canadian universities and
diplomas in law and business from Southwest University in Chongqing
and Tsinghua University in Beijing. He is responsible for
construction management business in China.
HAROLD INSLEY, Head of Environmental Services
Harold Insley joined Scott Wilson in 1967 and joined the
Hong Kong operation in 1975. In the Asia-Pacific region, he has
worked in Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines and
Papua New Guinea. Harold has significant experience working on
multi-disciplinary projects for the Hong Kong SAR Government, and
is a contracts and risk management specialist, with particular
experience in Design Build and Operate (DBO) schemes for waste
management projects, including landfills and refuse transfer
stations. Harold oversees all environmental projects in Hong Kong
and Mainland China.
LEE PARKS, Head of Landscape Architecture
Lee
Parks has over 10 years experience working at all stages of the
design process from large scale master planning and LVIA to
detailed implementation. He has experience of landscape planning
for public and private clients including commercial and retail,
education and healthcare, wellness resorts, recreation areas, urban
centres, riverside, coastal parks and landscape design of major
infrastructure and urban regeneration areas.
KIM TOH, Head of Architecture and Planning
Kim Toh has
15 years experience working in multi-disciplinary practices and for
real estate developers in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and
overseas. Kim has a wide range of experience encompassing the
preparation of strategic conceptual designs and masterplanning of
sites to co-ordinating the layout of buildings, infrastructure,
highways and landscape in urban areas. He has designed and
managed projects for residential developments, business parks,
inner-city mixed use sites, transport and movements corridors,
public open spaces and tourism and leisure proposals.
YANG WEI-DONG, General Manager, Jiangsu Scott Wilson
Yang Wei-dong joined the Jiangsu Provincial Communications
Planning and Design Institute in 1991 following the completion of
his master's degree at Nanjing University in civil and geotechnical
engineering. Yang Wei-dong was engaged on highway projects
including the preliminary and detailed design of the
Nanjing-Shanghai Expressway. Shortly after the formation of the
joint venture between Scott Wilson and the Jiangsu design
institute, he transferred to Jiangsu Scott Wilson where he
concentrated on planning, design and construction of manufacturing
plants and industrial projects in China. He manages key industrial
and transport projects for Jiangsu Scott Wilson and in 2000 was
appointed Director of the joint-venture company, responsible for JV
operations and project management.
BOB YANG, General Manager, Scott Wilson Tianjin
Bob Yang
has over 20 years of practical experience in port and maritime
engineering, coastal engineering and environment engineering with
expertise in port planning, risk management and project management.
Bob has undertaken many regional and national-level projects in
China, Northeast Asia and Africa for both public and private sector
clients. As General Manager of the joint-venture company, Scott
Wilson Tianjin, Bob is responsible for business development and
project management for the environment engineering, harbour
engineering, water resources, river and coastal engineering market
sectors.
