SIMON DAVIES, Chairman, Asia-Pacific
Simon joined Scott Wilson in 1978 and has
worked in the Asia-Pacific Region for more than 30 years, based in
Hong Kong for much of this period and in Malaysia for five years.
He has been a key proponent in helping the Scott Wilson Group reach
6,000 staff and he has directed the growth of a full-service,
client-focused business in the Asia-Pacific Region. Overseeing the
Group's business development and operational activities in
Asia-Pacific, Simon also sits on the Group's Executive Committee.
Simon's technical background encompasses a range of
transport-related infrastructure projects, notably
design-build-operate schemes, and he has played a key role in the
successful implementation of many privatised waste management
projects.
PETER CHAN, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific
Peter Chan joined Scott Wilson in 1993 with responsibility
for the environmental and waste business following years
specialising in geotechnics and environmental remediation in Canada
and Hong Kong. He has been the Director responsible for Scott
Wilson's operations in China since 2000, and in 2009 became
Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific Region. Peter has overseen
the growth of Scott Wilson's operations in China and Hong Kong to
nearly 900 staff with a diversified business structure of
wholly-owned companies and joint ventures in the Mainland.
Professional staff, services and capability have been developed and
strengthened to match the project requirements of local government
clients, private Chinese investors and multinational clients doing
business in China.
MIKE CHALMERS, Director, Asia-Pacific
Michael Chalmers joined Scott Wilson in the UK in 1973 and
moved to Hong Kong in 1975. He has over 35 years extensive
experience on major feasibility and planning studies for port
developments, tourism and leisure projects, marine studies and
investigations, industrial and urban developments, and the design,
tendering and construction of a wide range of projects involving
dredging, reclamation, seawalls and other maritime structures. Mike
has particularly strong experience on container and oil terminals,
and large-scale reclamations.
TONG WAI-LOK, Director, Asia-Pacific
Tong Wai-lok joined Scott Wilson in 1997. He has over 25
years experience in structural, civil and geotechnical engineering
with expertise in deep basement excavation, geotechnical works,
foundation and high-rise buildings construction. Before joining
Scott Wilson, he ran his own practice and was in charge of more
than 70 projects over this period valued at over HK$ 900
million.
RONNIE THOMSON, Director, Asia-Pacific
Ronnie
Thomson joined Scott Wilson in Hong Kong in 1989 and in 1992
relocated to Bangkok to develop the company’s South East Asia
operations. He is responsible for operations in South East Asia
including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Philippines as
well as project activity throughout the region. With over 25 years’
experience in Asia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Ronnie
has directed, project managed and designed a wide range of
infrastructure and building projects, specialising in geotechnical
engineering. He has been responsible for the geotechnical input to
major reclamation projects, foundation designs for buildings and
expressways and earth retaining structures.
WALTER CHAN, Director, Infrastructure
Walter Chan
rejoined Scott Wilson in 2008 after having gained early experience
with the company in Hong Kong from 1978 to 1984 on bridges, new
towns and industrial projects. Walter has over 30 years of
experience in project management, railway, highway and bridges,
buildings facilities, industrial and maritime structures.
Previously he held senior positions in Hong Kong and Australia with
leading consultants and a railway operator. He is growing the
company’s existing infrastructure business, targeting new
infrastructure and transportation projects in Hong Kong and the
region, particularly with private sector clients.
GEOFFREY PHILLIPS, Director, Infrastructure
Geoff Phillips joined
Scott Wilson in 1986 following a number of years with the Mass
Transit Railway Corporation in Hong Kong and with a major
construction contractor in UK. Geoff has wide-ranging experience in
designing and managing large-scale transport infrastructure
including expressways, tunnels and railways; urban infrastructure
including site works for property developers; waste management
facilities; and water, wastewater and drainage facilities. Geoff
was promoted to Principal Engineer in 1991, Associate in 1993 and
became Technical Director in 2001. He has a comprehensive
knowledge and experience of standard, turnkey, design-build and
build-operate-transfer construction contracts, including due
diligence independent checking.
COLLIN CHAN, Director, Infrastructure
Collin Chan has 20 years' experience in civil engineering
infrastructure and waterworks. He has been involved in a wide range
of projects comprising feasibility studies, preliminary and
detailed design, contract preparation and supervision-in-chief on
roadworks, bridges, cycleways, site formation, reclamation,
drainage, sewerage, water supply and utilities, in both rugged
terrain in the New Territories and in intensively developed urban
areas in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island Central Business
District.
PAUL CHU, Director, Infrastructure
Paul Chu joined Scott Wilson in 1980 and has developed a
career focused on studies, design and supervision of major highway
and railway bridges, as well as managing planning and landscape
studies and design for major transport infrastructure. He is
currently an Associate in the Highways and Bridges Section. He has
more than 28 years experience in the project management, design and
contract administration of bridges and infrastructure development
in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Canada. Paul has also managed
Scott Wilson joint-venture operations in China.
BENJAMIN SUN, Director, Geotechnics
Dr Benjamin Sun joined Scott Wilson in 1997.
Following his Master's degree and PhD in Geotechnical Engineering,
Ben worked on a wide variety of geotechnical and geoenvironmental
projects in the USA and Canada. After joining Scott Wilson in Hong
Kong, he has managed and directed many publicly funded civil
projects, building development projects, as well as various slope
assessment and maintenance projects. Ben has also evaluated the
stability of and designed large tailings dams and has engineered
various landfill and waste containment facilities.
IAN MUIR, Director, Maritime
Ian Muir has 20
years' experience in civil engineering and ground
investigation with recent heavy emphasis on martitime works. Since
joining Scott Wilson in 1993, he has been engaged in the firm's
Geotechnical Section and has provided geotechnical support to
design teams and resident site staff on a number of flagship site
formation, earthworks, reclamation and associated projects in Hong
Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Bahrain and Qatar.
JONATHAN MEIGH, Director, Maritime
Jonathan Meigh has 35 years' experience in the planning,
design and construction of maritime and port development projects.
He has been involved in many projects in Hong Kong, China, Bahrain,
Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India, UK, Gibraltar,
the Caribbean and various countries in Africa. He is the head
of the firm's Coastal Engineering Group within the Maritime
business unit and will be responsible for all Bahrain and United
Arab Emirates' projects.
SAMUEL WONG, Director, Transportation Planning
Samuel Wong has 20 years experience in transport planning,
traffic engineering and management throughout Asia and UK. He has
managed and participated in numerous regional transport studies,
and carried out traffic appraisals for property developments and
transport infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and China. Samuel is
an expert at planning and implementing traffic and financial
studies for privatized expressways including more than 100 toll
road projects, primarily in Mainland China, particularly as part of
due diligence for companies’ Initial Public Offerings listings on
Hong Kong and China stock exchanges.
WONG KOI-HOU, Director, Building Structures

Wong first joined Scott Wilson in 1990 after having worked for
consultant and contractors on a variety of building structures
projects. He was promoted to principal engineer in 2001 and in
January 2008 was appointed Technical Director. He has over 20 years
of experience in the design and construction of structural
engineering projects including high-rise commercial and residential
buildings, hotels, deep basements, industrial, education,
exhibition halls and transport stations and complexes including
numerous projects at Hong Kong International Airport.
MIKE BEZZANO, Director, Programme Management
Mike
Bezzano has over 20 years’ experience in managing large,
high-profile and fast-track projects and providing specialist
advice on project management and strategic management. As Director,
Programme Management, he is responsible for programming on the MTR
South Island Line C902 consultancy. Previously Mike has worked in
the UK on a 63,000 sq m high-bay automated distribution centre, a
waste recycling centre and the UK’s largest steel coil railhead and
distribution facility. He was also the Project Director on
the UK’s leading sustainable project, ‘Innovate Green Office’, and
has managed over 20 environmental projects under the environmental
assessment method, BREEAM.
LAU CHUN-LEUNG, Director, Project Management
Lau Chun-leung joined Scott Wilson in 2004 after
having worked with several major construction companies in the
region and managed the construction of projects in China, Malaysia
and Vietnam. He has extensive experience in working within a
multi-cultural environment. His project experience is wide-ranging,
encompassing the construction of hotels, residential towers,
institutional developments, office and commercial complexes,
industrial facilities and large-scale urban infrastructure. He is
experienced in contractual dispute resolution.
BRUCE WONG, Director, Building Services

Bruce Wong is an electrical engineer with 20 years of experience
in commercial, hotel and leisure, residential and industrial
property in Hong Kong and mainland China. Based in Beijing, Bruce
heads up Scott Wilson's Mechanical & Electrical engineering and
building services practice in the division, including green
building design for property developers and owners. He specialises
in niche building services consultancy for five-star hotels,
comprehensive mixed-use developments, and Class A offices.
SIMON LAU, Director, Management Services
Simon
Lau has nearly 30 years of engineering design, construction and
project management on infrastructure, industrial and environmental
projects in China, Hong Kong and Canada. He joined Scott Wilson in
2007 from Zublin Project Management China Ltd where he was Managing
Director of their Guangzhou office. He has excellent knowledge of
implementing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management
and Design-Build projects, particularly in China. Simon holds
advanced degrees in engineering from Canadian universities and
diplomas in law and business from Southwest University in Chongqing
and Tsinghua University in Beijing. He is responsible for
construction management business in China.
HAROLD INSLEY, Head of Environmental Services
Harold Insley joined Scott Wilson in 1967 and joined the
Hong Kong operation in 1975. In the Asia-Pacific region, he has
worked in Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines and
Papua New Guinea. Harold has significant experience working on
multi-disciplinary projects for the Hong Kong SAR Government, and
is a contracts and risk management specialist, with particular
experience in Design Build and Operate (DBO) schemes for waste
management projects, including landfills and refuse transfer
stations. Harold oversees all environmental projects in Hong Kong
and Mainland China.
LEE PARKS, Associate Director, Landscape Architecture
Lee
Parks has over 10 years experience working at all stages of the
design process from large scale master planning and LVIA to
detailed implementation. He has experience of landscape planning
for public and private clients including commercial and retail,
education and healthcare, wellness resorts, recreation areas, urban
centres, riverside, coastal parks and landscape design of major
infrastructure and urban regeneration areas.
ADI LEUNG, Head of Interior Design

Adi Leung joined Scott Wilson in 2008. He has 25 years of
experience in interior design and project management with extensive
experience of prestigious 5 star hotels, Grade A office
developments, upscale retail shopping malls, and integrated resort
and residential developments in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland
China. Adi's training is in art, interiors and project management.
He is a Member of the Australia Institute of Project Management
(AIPM) and a co-founder of the style magazine "Today's Living".
Adi's strength lies in creating distinct effects by integrating
interiors with existing architecture.
LEUNG WAI-KIT, Director, Hong Kong Operations
Leung Wai-kit has more than 25 years of experience in the
management and design of transport and urban infrastructure
projects in Hong Kong and Australia, and in operations management.
He is responsible for the management of the business systems for
Scott Wilson' s Hong Kong operations, with expertise in information
systems and CADD services, quality assurance systems and project
operations and document control systems. He has also project
managed a variety of major urban and regional infrastructure
projects.
BOB YANG, Director, China Operations
Dr Bob Yang
has over 20 years' experience in port and coastal engineering,
urban and regional planning and environmental services and he
specialises in port and waterfront area planning and project risk
management. Dr Yang is an adjunct professor of the College of Civil
Engineering at Tianjin University. Joining Scott Wilson in 2003, Dr
Yang is the General Manager of Scott Wilson' s operations in
Tianjin and Qingdao where he also directs a wide variety of
business consultancy, planning, design and construction supervision
projects for public sector and private clients.
