Integral to Scott Wilson's approach to work and the importance we place on our relationships with clients is our focus on quality -- the quality of our professional services and the quality of our company's internal management and operations. We achieve this quality through our commitment to ISO 9001 certification and the help of our Quality Management systems.

In June 1994 we became the first major civil and structural consulting engineer in Hong Kong to be accredited under the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency's (HKQAA) Quality Assurance Scheme in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:1994. Our scope of certification is detailed in the company's HKQAA Certificate. Scott Wilson is similarly accredited by IQNet, the International Certification Network of which the HKQAA is a member. Periodic surveillance audits by the HKQAA demonstrate that we maintain high standards of quality and are in compliance with the Quality Assurance Scheme.

In September 2002, HKQAA auditors certified the 'Scott Wilson Internal Management System' (SWIMS) and praised Scott Wilson for implementing a system which well exceeds the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. Subsequently, the HKQAA determined in May 2009 that Scott Wilson is now successfully certified to ISO 9001:2008.
