Scott Wilson's Water group provides a range of services across the entire water cycle to support development and environmental improvement.  Our services include water resources, water supply and treatment, wastewater, flood risk management and coastal engineering.  Client-focused products range from strategic plans through to specific solutions at local level. Clients include not only organisations which directly manage water - such as water utility companies and governmental water authorities - but also environmental regulators, contractors, infrastructure owners, planning authorities and developers.  Because of this our project portfolio includes major projects such as river basin management planning in Iran, flood relief channels in Angola, protection of artificial islands in Bahrain and Dubai, and water and wastewater treatment plants throughout the UK.

Water is at the forefront of many of the challenging issues that face the modern world - climate change, scarcity of resources, industrialisation, population growth and environmental standards.  Scott Wilson is actively engaged in providing solutions to problems such as managing scarce water resources, or managing development so that water infrastructure needs are taken into account and planned for.  Allowance for climate change is built into our solutions for managing flood risk or providing water to adequate volumes and quality.  Our projects take account of the latest developments in environmental best practice.
