Project background
Peel purchased the former RAF Finningley in 1996 and proceeded

expansion.
Scott Wilson was initially appointed to complete due diligence
for their purchase of RAF Finningley.
Subsequently Scott Wilson prepared an environmental statement
and planning application submission. This included support through
the Public Inquiry and involved public consultation. Planning
Approval was granted in 2003, moving the project into its detailed
design and construction phase.
Scott Wilson provided a comprehensive detailed design service of
all airside works, including:
- Drainage
- Pavements
- AGL

In parallel with planning and design services, Scott Wilson
provided advice regarding training, operations and regulations
leading to the application for, and successful award of a licence
by the CAA.
Value adding project achievements
Throughout Scott Wilson’s 10 year (and ongoing) involvement with
the project, it has drawn on a broad range of skills offered by the
company.
