Scott Wilson to be Appointed by MTR Corporation for the
South Island Line in Hong Kong

Scott Wilson Group plc (“Scott Wilson” or “the Group”), the
global integrated design and engineering consultancy for the built
and natural environments, is pleased to announce that MTR
Corporation has confirmed its intention, subject to formal railway
procedures necessary in Hong Kong, to award the Detailed Design
Package C902 for South Horizon Station, Lei Tung Station and
Tunnels for the South Island Line in Hong Kong.
The contract to Scott Wilson is worth over £8 million over two
years. This important new rail link runs from Central to Ap Lei
Chau on the south side of Hong Kong Island and the construction
cost is estimated to be in excess of £500 million.
